What is a Business Wellness Plan?
Club Northwest has developed a fantastic program to connect our members and guests with local businesses that we believe are the “best of the best” in the Rogue Valley. The Plan has 4 major features; ClubTV, Pay by Gift Certificate, Employee Wellness and Lobby Display. We believe a healthy business community benefits all of us.
What is ClubTV?
ClubTV is a unique advertising medium where you can promote your business to a very targeted group of consumers who have money to spend on enjoying life…Club Northwest members and guests! ClubTV is a 45” widescreen monitor where we broadcast promotional spots on local businesses in our cardio theatre.
How many times a day is my promotional spot shown?
Your 20-second promotional ad is shown a minimum of 32 times a day, 7 days a week, day and night to between 300 and 400 pre-qualified buyers per day. Right now, while we are introducing our Business Wellness Program, the number of times shown is much higher. Since advertising is all about multiple impressions and repetition, the sooner you sign up, the sooner your ad is up and running!
What do I have to do to create the ad?
For just $75, our Marketing Department, will create your promotional spot for you ! How easy is that? We just need your company logo and a couple of photos to integrate into the ad, which we can even take for you. Of course, we will work closely with you on the messaging and you will have final approval before your ad runs. Our goal is to inspire our members and guests to take action and patronize your business.
Can I do it myself?
We prefer to create your ad for you so all the technical requirements and formatting are met.
Will my business fit in?
Most of our Business Wellness partners participate because either a Club Northwest member or employee has recommended them. Or because we have heard good things about you and want our members to know more about your business. We have contacted you because we are confident about recommending your business.
Describe the Gift Certificate option.
We do fun and crazy things here at Club Northwest and this is one of them! You have the option to pay for up to 25% of your Business Wellness Plan with your business’ gift certificates! We’ll use them in fun contests like ClubTV Bingo and giveaways at the Club. People will know that we think your business is great and you’ll get more foot traffic! That means more word-of-mouth advertising as well!
I can’t afford to give gift certificates away.
You virtually can’t afford not to!
1) Remember, you are paying part of your fee in gift certificates, not giving gift certificates. And, your cost is always less than the value of the certificate!
2) You will pay out less actual cash for your Business Wellness Plan. In addition to other savings, with a 12 month commitment, you will save $480 in CASH by paying 25% in gift certificates.
3) You will gain new customers who have not been in your establishment before.
4) People tend to spend more than the value of the certificate.
What kind of gift certificates do you want?
That depends on the type of business you are. For a restaurant, $10 might work well, or a two-for-one. For a chiropractor, maybe a free session may be appropriate. For a clothing store, $20 off a $100 purchase. The point is to get new customers into your business so you can wow them and have them come back as repeat customers.

Employee Wellness…what’s that all about?
This is the part we love the best. Helping you help your employees to be healthier people! We will give you back 100% of your investment in the form of a membership fee certificate if you sign up for 12 months and pay your entire contract at one time. You can award and incent your employees by paying their membership fee at Club Northwest! In most cases, you’ll get over $1200 in membership fee credit. And as an added bonus, we’ll give you an additional 10% off for paying in advance. Life is good!
Wait a minute. 100% back?
Hard to believe, but it’s true. We know from experience that healthy employees are happier and more productive employees. We would love every business to offer their employees a reason to get fit, so this is our way of encouraging that. You’ll have a year to use your certificate to pay their membership fees. (Monthly dues will still
apply).
I only have a couple employees (or none). Can I still have this membership credit?
If you have employees, you’ll be amazed at how an incentive like this generates loyalty. So, you can use some of the credit now, and as your business grows, add other employees later, as long as you use it within a year. If you don’t have employees, we may be able to arrange for the credit to be used for family members or friends.
So, I can display in your lobby?
Absolutely! Part of our annual plan gives your business the opportunity to set up a display in our lobby a couple of times a year. Want to talk to our members about your business or display your products? What a convenient way to get people talking about your business!
As much as I like the Employee Wellness part, I really can’t pay all at once.
You certainly have the option of paying by EFT on a monthly basis, either from a credit card, checking or savings account. Unfortunately, you will not get the Employee Wellness component or the additional 10% off. You might consider paying the entire amount with a credit card to get all the discounts and benefits. You’ll save more money than you’d pay in interest! We accept VISA, Mastercard and Discover

I think I’d be crazy not to do this. How do I sign up?
Super easy! You just need to determine if you would like to sign up month-to-month or for 12 months. (Remember, the 100% credit back only applies with the 12 month option). There’s a contract to sign, we collect some money and gift certificates from you and start designing your promotional spot. We put new ads up the 1st of each month, so make sure you are signed up by the 20th of the month to get your spot up and running by the next month!
