Pickleball is America’s fastest growing sport and it is easy to see why. The game is easy to learn and all ages can play. It’s fun, competitive, and a great environment to make new friends while getting a great workout too. If you’re still not sold, watch this introduction to Pickleball and then join us for demos and lessons.
What's All The Racquet? If you haven't noticed, racquet sports are very popular at Club Northwest. Why? Great exercise, great facilities and great friends. Whether you are new to racquet sports or an old pro, there are other members ready and anxious to play. Three racquetball courts are available and can be reserved up to two days in advance at the Service Desk or by calling us at 541-955-2582. The Racquet Sports Department offers private and group lessons for all levels as well as clinics, tournaments and leagues for adults and youth. Join us on Saturday mornings from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for organized instruction and play. Clinic runs Saturdays beginning Dec. 2 and through Jan. 6.
The cost for members is $15 per day. For Potential Members, $20 per day. Addition family member kids receive 1/2 price.
Not sure what racquet is right for you? Club Northwest's Demo Program allows you to have access to all of our Demo Program racquets, so you can try before you buy! The monthly fee is only $25 and will be deducted from the price of any racquet you purchase during that month. Reservations are available at the front desk or by calling 541.955.2582.
In addition to carrying racquet sports accessories and racquets, you can also get your racquets professionally strung right at the Pro Shop. We do in-house racquet stringing for any sport racquet including tennis, racquetball, and squash. We can make your old racquet look and feel brand new!
Rule of thumb is that your racquet should be restrung as often per year as you play per week. Keep your racquet happy!

Great fun exercise for body and mind. All moves are broken down to make it easy to follow. The entire body is stretched and strengthened throughout movement. Effective for weight control and self-image with cardiovascular and muscular benefits. Helps posture, grace, focus and fluidity while improving self-confidence and reducing stress. Bellydance encourages and inspires women to express and celebrate their beauty and natural femininity. Please wear stretchy comfortable clothing. Barefoot or ballet slippers.
Single - $30 for 1 hour private dance lesson (Potential Member $35)

Club Northwest offers three championship outdoor courts in addition to a wide variety of programs.
Chris Atzet has 21 years of teaching experience in all aspects and levels of the game; from little tennis, to elite juniors to collegiate Division 1 NCAA Champion level women. He has taught at numerous clubs throughout the Pacific Northwest and for the last 10 years has been a teaching professional at La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club in San Diego. Prior to that he was the assistant coach for the University of San Diego women's tennis team for 7 years, where he was the primary hitting partner for the NCAA Women's Singles Champion, provided on court coaching and strategy, and assisted with recruiting for this perennially top 50 ranked tennis program. Chris attended the University of Portland and University of Nevada Las Vegas and played for both schools on their NCAA Division 1 Men's tennis teams. After his collegiate tennis career, he competed on the professional men's satellite tennis tour for a couple of years. Chris has a bachelors degree in Psychology and is a native Southern Oregonian originally from Merlin, where he attended North Valley High School. Chris is USPTA 1 Certified and excited to help promote and grow tennis at Club Northwest.

Cardio Tennis - Adults and Kids 13 and up. All skill levels welcome. Wednesdays and Thursday 8:00 - 9:00 am. High paced drills designed to burn calories and keep you moving.
Beginning Tennis - Kids 14 and under. Wednesdays 9:00 - 10:00 am and 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Learn the basics and fundamentals of tennis.
Intermediate /Advanced Tennis (16 and under) - Wednesdays 10:00 - 11:00 am and 6:00 - 7:00 pm. Drills designed to improve your game to the next level. Stroke progression and Strategy with point play.
Beginning Tennis for Adults - 9:00 - 10:00 am Thursdays. Learn the basics and fundamentals of tennis.
Intermediate/Advanced tennis for adults - 10:00 - 11:00 am Thursdays. Drills designed to improve your game to the next level. Stroke progression and Strategy with point play.
Doubles drills and strategy for adults - Thursdays 5:30 - 6:30 pm. High intensity drills all designed with doubles in mind.
Open play for adults - overseen by Chris Thursday evenings 6:30 -7:30 pm. Free to all that show match play and hitting with a little warn up by Chris.
