Cardio Tennis is a new, fun group activity featuring drills to give players of all abilities an ultimate, high-energy workout. Taught by a teaching professional, Cardio Tennis includes a warm-up, cardio workout, and cool down phases. If you are looking for a great new way to get in shape and to burn calories, you must try Cardio Tennis. While Cardio Tennis is normally an hour or less, some programs are as short as 30 minutes while others run longer
There are programs and drills geared for existing players to get a great cardio workout while improving skill. Cardio Tennis is more fun than working out in a gym or other forms of exercise.
The typical Cardio Tennis program would include:
5-10 minute warm-up segment
30-50 minute Cardio segment
5-10 minute cool down segment
Cardio Tennis is first and foremost a fitness program. It is more about getting people moving and active…less on hitting great forehands and backhands.
A Cardio Tennis program will elevate a person’s heart rate into their aerobic zone. The pro will challenge you to your ability and fitness level.
